Flinders is the only Australian university in with a shot of winning the highly sought after Times Higher Education “Why I Love My University …” video competition.

It’s a Flinders video … it’s a top five finalist in the world … and with the Australian public’s views, likes and shares on YouTube, it could be number one!

That’s the thrilling opportunity facing Flinders University’s entry to the Times Higher Education “Why I Love My University …” video competition.

Flinders is the only Australian university in with a shot of winning the highly sought after award.

Because the winner is partially selected according to its online popularity, the University is putting out an Australia-wide call for shares and views of the Flinders video entry on YouTube.

The clip, which was produced by the University’s Flinders Creations team, is up against an international field of finalists which includes The University of British Columbia (Canada), Simon Fraser University (Canada), Novosibirsk State University (Russia) and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (Russia).

Shot and edited by Flinders Creations Producer Tom Young, it is an inspiring, high-energy montage of images of graduating students writing why they love Flinders on a chalkboard against several iconic Flinders backdrops.
