Flinders student wins Endeavour Scholarship

jakobFlinders student Jakob Braunack-Mayer has won a prestigious Endeavour Scholarship as part of the 2011 Prime Minister’s Australia Asia Undergraduate Awards.

The awards were announced by Prime Minister Julia Gillard during the East Asia Summit in Hanoi.

A student in the joint Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice/Bachelor of International Studies course, Jakob is also studying Mandarin at the University of Adelaide as part of his degree.

His program of study under the award, which is worth around $40,000, will include a semester of study as an exchange student at East China Normal University, and a confirmed internship with Shanghai-based law firm Watson and Band.
