Professor Dean Forbes, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International and Communities) last week hosted a delegation from China, in Australia as part of the China-Australia Middle Managers Program (CHAMMP).
Representing 21 Chinese universities – including Peking, Beijing Normal, Beijing Jiao Tong, Nankai and Tianjin Universities – as well as two government education departments, the senior administrators and research leaders met with Professor Forbes and other Flinders University colleagues to discuss aspects of research management and cooperation.
CHAMMP aims to build links and collaboration between Australian and Chinese universities by facilitating knowledge and skills exchange at middle management level.
The program operates under the auspices of the Australian Vice-Chancellors’ Committee in association with the China Education Association for International Exchange.
