Staff of the University Health Service are celebrating the recent successful re-accreditation of the practice for a further three years, having met all of the stringent quality standards set down by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
The College’s audit covered areas such as patient safety, continuity of care and practice systems.
“We are very pleased to again be able to demonstrate to staff and students who attend the Health Service as patients that we achieve national standards of best practice,” Andrew Wood, Head of Flinders Health Service, said.
“I’d like to commend the Service’s medical, nursing and administrative staff for making this achievement possible and for their dedication to providing the best possible care to our patients,” he said.
