Flinders builds on Indonesia links

Strained national relations between Australia and Indonesia over border protection issues make the importance of people-to-people relationships, including those based around education, even more crucial, according to Flinders University Vice-Chancellor Professor Michael Barber.

As Indonesia is now a strong neighbour, it is time to enhance a two-way exchange of students, including support from Jakarta for Australian students to study in Indonesia.

Flinders University has officially opened an office in Jakarta to assist in servicing and strengthening the University’s extensive network of Indonesian collaborators and alumni.
